About Us

Olivegarden Paper is a unique Korean paper folding academy located in Redmond, Washington, where children begin their cognitive development through the tips of their fingers.

Here, children not only learn the Korean language but also engage in various paper art classes that allow them to express their creativity. The projects they create in class go beyond simple art activities and become an important means for children to express their individuality and preferences.

The classroom is filled with colorful paper and art supplies, further enhancing the creative atmosphere.

The experience at Olive Garden Paper provides children with a valuable opportunity to nurture creativity and confidence, going beyond just language learning. Parents are encouraged to actively support their children in this environment. Watching children learn Korean while expressing their creativity will be a truly special experience.

Paper Folding Effects

Enhances Creativity and Problem-Solving Skills

Paper folding stimulates creative thinking and helps develop problem-solving abilities. Through the process of creating new shapes or transforming existing ones, children naturally express their imagination and creativity. Additionally, logical thinking and planning skills are improved as they figure out how to complete each project.

Improves Focus, Fine Motor Skills, and Patience

Paper folding requires attention to detail, which helps build focus and concentration. The activity involves fine hand movements that develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and dexterity. Furthermore, the repetitive nature of the process helps children develop patience and perseverance as they work to complete their projects.

Boosts Cognitive Function and Promotes Social Interaction

Paper folding activates the brain by engaging both hand movements and cognitive thinking. It strengthens memory, spatial awareness, and abstract thinking, while also helping prevent cognitive decline. The process of creating and solving problems fosters cognitive development, including memory training, which may aid in dementia prevention. Moreover, when children work together on paper folding projects, they learn the importance of teamwork, communication, and social interaction, further enhancing their collaborative skills.
